Mountain Top, or Taiyang Chuanhe, is a comprehensive entertainment and media company established in 2015. Initially focused on artist representation, the firm has since diversified its operations. The company was founded by CEO Yang Ming, who has an extensive background in the entertainment industry, including managing artist Zhou Xun and graduating from the Directing department of the Central Academy of Drama in China. The firm's business model evolved from a traditional celebrity agency to a multi-faceted platform that includes a Multi-Channel Network (MCN) for online influencers, live-streaming e-commerce, and content production and investment.

Originally starting as the personal studio for actress Angelababy, Mountain Top was co-founded by Yang Ming, Angelababy, and Huang Xiaoming. The company has represented a significant roster of talent, including actors, musicians, directors, screenwriters, and prominent online personalities like Papi Jiang, who was instrumental in the creation of the papitube MCN. The company's client base consists of these entertainers and influencers, for whom they provide services such as career planning, commercial endorsements, public relations, and project development. Mountain Top generates revenue through commissions on its talents' earnings, as well as through its investments in film and television productions, such as the blockbuster 'The Wandering Earth'. In March 2020, the company secured a significant Series B funding round of RMB 180 million, led by ByteDance, aiming to enhance its strategic cooperation with the tech giant and further develop its IP management and digitization business.
