Founded in 2021 and officially launched in 2023, Molecules Biolabs is a health-tech company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of science-backed nutraceutical ingredients. The company was established by brothers Dr. Sreeraj Gopi and Dr. Sreerag Gopi, who serve as Managing Director and Director, respectively. Dr. Sreeraj Gopi, a distinguished scientist and entrepreneur, started the company without external financing, growing it from a small 1,000 sq. ft. lab into a global entity that exports to over 50 countries.

Headquartered in Kerala, India, Molecules Biolabs operates with a mission to merge natural compounds with advanced technology to create highly effective health solutions. The firm is a pioneer in liposomal technology, developing both liquid and dry formulations to enhance the bioavailability and stability of active ingredients like botanical extracts, vitamins, and minerals. This focus on advanced drug delivery systems, including liposomal and micellar technologies, addresses common issues such as poor absorption and rapid elimination of bioactive compounds.

The company serves the food and nutraceutical industries by supplying B2B ingredients and offering custom formulation development. Its product portfolio includes powders, capsules, gummies, and effervescent tablets, all designed to offer superior efficacy. In September 2025, the company inaugurated its 35,000 sq. ft. Global Innovation Centre in Kerala, the largest dedicated facility for liposomal research in Asia, representing a significant milestone in its expansion. The research and development unit is recognized by India's Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).
