MOA Foodtech is a Madrid biotechnology company that combines biomass fermentation with its Albatros AI platform to turn agri-food side streams into functional ingredients for food, pet food and emerging nutraceutical uses. Using non-GMO microorganisms with established food-safety status in the US and Europe, its portfolio includes MOA Q5 (a multifunctional egg replacer and emulsifier for sauces and bakery) and MOA Yeast / Yeast FeG taste, texture and nutrition enhancers for food and pet nutrition. Albatros identifies microorganism-feedstock combinations and optimises fermentation conditions; the company also licenses processes to industrial partners.
