About MLINK

Beijing Mlink Technology Inc. (MLINK), founded in September 2013 by Tsinghua University alumni Lv Yuechuan and Qian Wei, is a fabless IC design company specializing in cellular and satellite communication chips. The firm has established a dual-track business focus on satellite communication and cellular Internet of Things (IoT), committing to a strategy of developing all core technologies in-house. The company's business model revolves around the design and sale of these specialized chips to manufacturers of end devices like smart meters, mobile phones, satellite communicators, and various industrial IoT equipment.

The founding team and core staff possess deep industry expertise, with an average of over 15 years of experience at prominent communication technology firms such as Qualcomm, Huawei, and Ericsson. This background has enabled MLINK to develop a robust portfolio of proprietary intellectual property. Since its inception, the company has achieved several milestones, including the launch of its first-generation NB-IoT chip, the MK8010, and later the MK8020, touted as the world's smallest NB-IoT chip at the time of its release in January 2021. A significant achievement came in April 2025, when its IoT-NTN chip, the MS210, received certification from global satellite operator Skylo, a first for a mainland China-based company. This certification allows devices using the MS210 chip to connect to Skylo's global non-terrestrial network (NTN).

MLINK's product lines are extensive, covering both major tracks. In cellular IoT, offerings include chips for NB-IoT (MK8010C), LTE Cat.1 bis (MK8110), 5G high-accuracy positioning (MK8520), and 5G RedCap (Reduced Capability) for low-to-mid-speed IoT applications. The 5G positioning chip, for example, is designed for low-power, high-accuracy indoor and outdoor tracking in sectors like smart logistics and industrial parks. In satellite communications, MLINK provides a comprehensive suite of chips, including the IoT-NTN MS210, the NR NTN MS330 for broadband applications, and the MS150 for legacy satellite systems, making it a versatile supplier across multiple standards. The company provides clients with a full turn-key solution, from the chip to the software development kit (SDK), which can shorten product development cycles.
