Mate's system integrates directly into an organization's existing security stack, including SIEMs, EDRs, and email security platforms. It utilizes large language models (LLMs), reasoning models, and AI agents to autonomously investigate alerts, connect evidence, and resolve routine incidents with full documentation. For more complex events, the platform escalates the issue to human analysts, providing enriched context to facilitate a quicker and more informed response. A core feature is its ability to learn from the actions and decisions of an organization's top analysts, building a contextual knowledge base that reflects the institution's specific policies, workflows, and business logic.

This approach allows the system to continuously improve its investigative accuracy and efficiency. Early pilot programs with clients in the financial services and critical infrastructure sectors across the United States, Europe, and Israel have shown significant reductions in mean time to respond (MTTR) and hours lost to false positives.
