Malanta is a Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity firm operating on a pre-attack prevention model, designed to counteract threats before they materialize. The company was established in 2024 by a team of former CyberArk executives: Kobi Ben Naim (CEO), Guy Ben Arie (Head of Engineering), Yossi Dantes (Chief Product Officer), and Tal Kandel (Chief Business Officer). This founding team has a shared history of over seven years at CyberArk, where they were instrumental in scaling products from inception to over $100 million in annual recurring revenue, bringing decades of combined experience in cyber defense, AI development, and deep-tech.

The firm exited stealth mode in November 2025 after securing $10 million in a seed funding round led by Cardumen Capital, with participation from The Group Ventures and notable angel investors like Udi Mokady, the founder of CyberArk. This capital is allocated to expanding the company's engineering and go-to-market teams, as well as enhancing its platform's capabilities. Malanta's business model is centered on its proprietary SaaS platform, which provides predictive intelligence to identify what it terms "Indicators of Pre-Attack" (IoPA). The platform functions by mapping a client's digital footprint and correlating it with intelligence gathered from across the internet, such as new domain registrations, command-and-control server setups, and phishing kits in development. This allows the system to identify and rank imminent threats, forecasting how and when they might be weaponized.

By focusing on the resource development phase of an attack, Malanta aims to disrupt malicious infrastructure before it becomes operational. This approach shifts the security posture from a reactive stance, which relies on metrics like Mean Time to Detect (MTTD), to a proactive one focused on prevention. The platform utilizes neural exposure modeling to prioritize assets most likely to be targeted. It is currently deployed with customers in the financial services, government, technology, and software sectors. The company has already collaborated with the Israel National Cyber Directorate, where its IoPA analysis contributed to dismantling adversary infrastructure. Malanta holds one granted patent with two more pending.
