About MAILMAN GROUP

In 1999, before the dominance of social media, Mailman Group started as a postcard marketing company in Shanghai. The business was a physical media company, delivering postcards to venues across the city. The turning point came in 2007 when Australian entrepreneur Andrew Collins acquired the company, seeing potential in a rapidly changing China. As the country's digital landscape began to take shape, Collins pivoted the business away from paper and into the digital world. The company found its niche by connecting Western sports and entertainment brands with the growing Chinese fan base. In 2010, they brought Liverpool FC online, making it the first global football team to digitally engage with fans in China. This move established Mailman as a key player for international sports organizations wanting to enter the complex Chinese market. Over the next decade, Mailman built a reputation for helping entities like the NFL, NBA, and top European football clubs build their digital presence in the region. A significant chapter in the company's story was written in July 2021, when it was acquired by Endeavor China, a subsidiary of the global entertainment and sports giant, for a reported $60 million. This acquisition integrated Mailman into Endeavor's 160over90 marketing agency, expanding its global platform and solidifying its position as a bridge between international sports brands and the Asian market.
