LVMH
Luxury goods group owning brands across five sectors
About LVMH
LVMH is a French luxury goods group that owns and runs around 75 brands, which it calls Maisons, across five business groups. Each Maison keeps its own identity, while the group provides capital, shared expertise and retail reach.
Wines & Spirits includes Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Krug and Hennessy. Fashion & Leather Goods, the largest group, covers Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Celine, Loewe, Fendi and Loro Piana. Perfumes & Cosmetics includes Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain and Benefit, and Watches & Jewelry includes Tiffany & Co., Bulgari, TAG Heuer and Hublot. Selective Retailing comprises Sephora, Le Bon Marché and travel retailer DFS. The group also owns hotels and French media titles.
LVMH sells mainly to consumers worldwide through its own boutiques, department stores, wholesale partners and e-commerce. It earns revenue by designing, making and selling its own products, and it takes stakes in emerging brands through LVMH Luxury Ventures.
