Lumia Security provides an AI Usage Control platform that gives enterprises visibility and control over how employees and autonomous AI agents interact with AI systems. Founded in 2024 by Omri Iluz and Bobi Gilburd, the company operates from New York and Tel Aviv. Iluz was the co-founder of PerimeterX, which was acquired by Human Security, while Gilburd formerly served as the CTO of Israel's Unit 8200 military intelligence arm.

The company's platform operates at the network layer, integrating with existing infrastructure without needing endpoint modifications. Concurrently with its launch, Lumia appointed Admiral Michael Rogers, a former director of the NSA and U.S. Cyber Command, to its advisory board. The company's business model is centered on helping CISOs and their organizations adopt AI by providing a framework for secure and responsible usage.
