Lookiero

Lookiero's service works by having users fill out a style profile, which is then used by a combination of human personal shoppers and in-house recommendation algorithms to curate a selection of five clothing items. This selection is then shipped to the customer in a "Lookiero Box". Customers can then try on the clothes at home, decide which items they want to keep, and return the rest. The company generates revenue by charging a styling fee for each box, which is then deducted from the total cost of the items the customer decides to purchase.

The company has seen significant growth since its inception, raising a total of $53.6 million over three funding rounds from eight investors. A notable funding round was led by Perwyn Growth Capital, which amounted to $30 million. In a strategic move to solidify its position as a market leader, Lookiero merged with its competitor, Outfittery, to create the largest online personal shopping service in Europe.
