About Linker Vision

Linker Vision is an AI software company founded in 2021 by Dr. Paul Shieh, who serves as Founder and Chairman, and Willy Kuo, who is the CTO & Co-Founder. Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, with an office in Santa Clara, California, the company specializes in Physical AI and Reasoning AI technologies. Its primary focus is developing and deploying large-scale AI applications for smart cities and enterprises.

The company's core offering is its VisionAI platform, an end-to-end solution designed to manage the entire AI model lifecycle. This platform enables data-centric AI development, continuous learning, and deployment from the cloud to the edge. The VisionAI platform is built on three main components: Mirra for synthetic data generation and simulation, DataVerse for data management and model training, and Observ for real-time video analytics and inference. This integrated stack allows organizations to transform visual data from physical environments into actionable, real-time insights. Linker Vision's solutions cater to various sectors, including smart cities, industrial AI, enterprise services, telecommunications, and robotics.

The VisionAI platform is designed to shorten development cycles and enable the deployment of reliable vision-based applications at scale. Its DataVerse component provides tools for AI-powered data discovery, scalable auto-labeling, and a no-code training pipeline, making model development accessible without extensive machine learning expertise. The Observ component offers a real-time monitoring and AI-powered surveillance platform that integrates with DataVerse for continuous model improvement. It is built on a Kubernetes architecture, supporting both cloud and edge computing deployments. Linker Vision heavily collaborates with NVIDIA, integrating technologies like NVIDIA Metropolis, Omniverse, and various AI blueprints to power its platform. This partnership allows the company to create city-scale digital twins and deploy sophisticated Vision Language Models (VLMs) and generative AI.

In December 2025, Linker Vision announced the successful closing of a $35 million Series A funding round. The round was led by the Abico Group, a Taiwanese conglomerate, with significant participation from NVIDIA and other investors including CIDC Consultants, Hotung Investment Holdings, and Yuanta Venture Capital. This capital is intended to fuel global expansion across the United States, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, as well as to accelerate product development and attract new talent. The company has already deployed its technology in several cities, including Kaohsiung in Taiwan and is expanding into cities in Vietnam.
