LIV's core product is a web-based Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) platform that connects fire departments, third-party inspection companies, and business owners. The platform is offered at no cost to fire departments and other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). Revenue is generated through fees collected from inspection companies that use the platform to submit reports. The software allows all stakeholders to track and manage inspection reports, deficiencies, and compliance deadlines in real-time. Key features include automated notifications, real-time deficiency tracking, third-party inspection reporting, digital permit management, and pre-plan mapping for emergency planning. The system aims to create a centralized database, streamline communication, and provide data analytics to help fire departments prioritize prevention efforts. In August 2025, LIV secured a $28.7 million growth capital investment from Mainsail Partners to accelerate product innovation and customer support.
