LiFT laser precision solder-paste printing for electronics manufacturing
About Keiron
Keiron Printing Technologies is an Eindhoven DeepTech company spun out of TNO Holst Centre in 2019 that industrialises Laser-Induced Forward Transfer (LiFT) for contactless, fully digital solder-paste printing on SMT lines. Its HF2 LiFT Printer is designed to replace stencil printers, jet printers and SPI inspection with one digital non-contact platform, targeting the process Keiron says drives the majority of PCBA defects in a global electronics assembly market worth well over €600 billion a year; the company cites first-pass yield gains and faster changeovers for high-mix, low-to-medium-volume production, including dense AI hardware interconnects. Led by CEO and founder Paul Rooimans, Keiron develops the technology with TNO as primary strategic research partner. In July 2026 Keiron closed a €20.7 million Series A co-led by Invest-NL, DeepTechXL and Waves Capital, with Ramphastos Investments, ATUM Ventures, Cottonwood Technology Fund and TNO Ventures, to scale production and commercial expansion across Europe, North America and APAC.
