Katalyze AI builds an agentic operating system for pharmaceutical and life-sciences companies. Its platform unifies fragmented production and operational data into a source-grounded record, then lets scientists, engineers, and analysts deploy teams of domain-trained AI agents for R&D, manufacturing, and supply-chain work. Katalyze says the platform is already used by five of the world’s 20 largest pharmaceutical companies, including Sanofi. The company is dual-headquartered in San Francisco and Toronto and was built by Reza Farahani, Shreyas Becker, Hannes Bretschneider, and Matt Cruz, whose experience spans AI, enterprise software, and life sciences. Farahani previously co-founded and sold Toronto HR software company WFHomie; Becker previously worked at Neo Financial and led AI and data products for manufacturing and supply at Sanofi.
