Karta's business model is built on partnerships with private banks and wealth management firms, such as Bolton Global Capital, XP Investments, and Interactive Brokers. These institutions can then offer the Karta card to their eligible clients, typically those with a minimum of $150,000 in assets. Revenue is generated through card services and interchange fees. The application process is streamlined, allowing for approval in minutes without requiring an SSN, and grants customers the ability to build a U.S. credit history.

The core product is the Karta Visa Infinite card, which provides credit limits based on the holder's assets under management at the partner institution. Upon approval, a virtual card is issued instantly for use with services like Apple Pay or Google Pay, followed by a physical metal card. A distinctive feature is the company's 24/7 client service, which is managed entirely through a WhatsApp concierge powered by AI agents. This allows cardholders to handle account inquiries, report fraud, book travel, and receive personalized assistance in real-time. Other benefits include no foreign transaction fees, rewards points, and access to exclusive events and premium travel insurance.
