KAFLIX started with 'Jeju Pass Rent-a-Car' in 2016, a platform for comparing and booking rental cars in Jeju, an area known for its competitive rental market. This was followed by the launch of 'Mosaica' in 2020, extending its services nationwide.

Mosaica functions as a car subscription service, offering short-term and long-term rentals without requiring security deposits, contracts, or cancellation fees. This model targets users seeking flexible vehicle access. The company's business strategy focuses on analyzing customer data to refine its services and solve traveler inconveniences. The platform aggregates a network of approximately 450 small and medium-sized rental car companies, managing a fleet of over 40,200 vehicles. In March 2022, KAFLIX secured a significant Series B funding round of KRW 32 billion from Yanolja, a major travel and leisure platform. This investment valued the company at KRW 200 billion and is intended to fuel the improvement of its mobility services and the expansion of its data-driven rental car service into global markets.
