Beijing IrisView Technology Co., Ltd. is a developer of operating systems for terminal devices such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). Founded in 2016 by Fan Shunhao, a Tsinghua University graduate, the company focuses on building the underlying system architecture for next-generation human-computer interactions. The team is composed of technical talent from institutions like Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the National University of Singapore.

The company's core product is IrisOS, a 3D multitasking operating system designed for AR and VR hardware. This system includes a 3D display interaction framework, development tools, and capabilities for cloud applications and cloud rendering, which allows high-quality 3D experiences on lightweight terminals. IrisOS is designed to be compatible with various chip platforms and optical modules from different manufacturers and supports both native Android 2D applications and 3D applications developed with engines like Unity. It enables features such as spatial perceptual integration, which combines virtual information with the real world, and multi-user, multi-device collaboration. IrisView provides its underlying system and technical services to AR hardware manufacturers.

Since its inception, IrisView has engaged in extensive cooperation with partners across the hardware and software industries, including smartphone manufacturers and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) partners, to launch reference designs. In November 2021, the company announced it had secured nearly 100 million yuan (approximately $15.63 million) in Series A and A+ financing rounds. The lead investors included GSR Ventures and Source Code Capital, with participation from Fortune Capital, Cloud Angel Fund, and ZhenFund.
