About Inneractive
Inneractive, an ad-tech company, was established in 2007 by co-founders Ziv Elul and Offer Yehudai. The venture secured funding from investors including Evergreen Venture Partners. Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, the company focused on creating a platform to help mobile publishers and app developers maximize their advertising revenue.
The core of Inneractive's business was a programmatic advertising platform centered on the mobile market. This platform included a mobile Supply-Side Platform (SSP), a Private Marketplace, and an Open Ad Exchange. It utilized Real-Time Bidding (RTB) to facilitate the buying and selling of mobile ad inventory, with a specific proficiency in video and native ad formats. The business model was designed to serve mobile publishers by providing the necessary technology to automate and optimize ad sales, thereby increasing their revenue. The clientele primarily consisted of mobile app developers across various sectors like gaming, entertainment, and social networking.
A significant milestone occurred in March 2016 when RNTS Media, the parent company of Fyber, announced a binding agreement to acquire Inneractive. The deal was valued at an initial $46 million in cash, with potential for an additional $26 million based on performance targets, bringing the total possible consideration to $72 million. Following the acquisition, the founders remained with the company, with Ziv Elul eventually becoming the CEO of Fyber and Offer Yehudai serving as its President. Under their leadership, the integrated company continued to grow, and by 2018, the Inneractive brand was fully absorbed into Fyber as part of a larger rebranding effort.
The journey continued when, in March 2021, Digital Turbine announced it would acquire Fyber for approximately $600 million in a cash and stock transaction. This move was part of Digital Turbine's strategy to build a comprehensive, end-to-end mobile advertising platform. The acquisition was completed in May 2021. After the acquisition by Digital Turbine, both Elul and Yehudai transitioned to new entrepreneurial ventures, with Elul founding Pery and Yehudai co-founding Arya.
