About Infrakit

In 2010, Teemu Kivimäki founded Infrakit, a company born from research at the University of Oulu. The idea was simple yet transformative: to bring cloud computing and digitalization to the infrastructure construction industry. Infrakit's platform aimed to streamline construction processes by providing up-to-date information, enhancing communication, and improving efficiency on construction sites.

Infrakit's journey saw a significant milestone in May 2021 when the company announced a €10 million Series A funding round, backed by Bachmaier Invest GmbH. This investment was pivotal in expanding Infrakit's reach into new markets and further developing its platform to meet the growing demands of the construction industry.

Continuing its growth trajectory, Infrakit secured an additional €6 million in February 2023 through a convertible note from the Finnish Climate Fund. This funding underscored the company's commitment to sustainable construction practices and its role in promoting climate-friendly infrastructure development.

Today, Infrakit stands as a leader in digital construction management, with its solutions being utilized across various countries.
