Redefining the way people play games through digital ownership
About InfiniGods
InfiniGods is a Web3 gaming studio, founded in 2021 by mobile and social gaming veterans Damon Gura (CEO) and Owen O'Donoghue (CRO), focused on integrating blockchain technology with accessible, free-to-play mobile games. Gura has a 25-year history in the gaming industry, including founding DGN Games, while O'Donoghue spent 11 years at Meta (formerly Facebook) developing its gaming division. The leadership team also includes Caleb Smith as CSO and Bryan DiSanto for Marketing/Brand, both with early experience in the Web3 space.
The company's core mission is to lower the barrier to entry for blockchain gaming, targeting mainstream mobile gamers by creating fun, engaging experiences without requiring deep knowledge of cryptocurrency. InfiniGods is building an ecosystem of games centered around ancient mythologies from civilizations like Greece, Egypt, and China. A key element of its strategy is the interoperability of digital assets; players can own non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that are usable across the studio's entire suite of games.
InfiniGods generates revenue through a player-owned economy, where users can own, trade, and use in-game assets, creating value for both paying and non-paying players. The company has secured significant financial backing, raising a $9 million seed round in May 2022 and an $8 million Series A round in April 2024, both led by Pantera Capital with participation from firms like Animoca Brands and Framework Ventures. This capital is being used to scale its game infrastructure and expand its global audience.
The studio has released several titles, including "InfiniMerge," a puzzle game; "Immortal Siege," a tower defense game; and "King of Destiny," a luck-based battle game for iOS and Android. These games are part of a larger, interconnected universe where NFTs like "Elder Gods" and "InfiniPasses" provide players with enhanced abilities and exclusive access across all titles. In 2025, InfiniGods plans to launch Godchain, a dedicated mobile Gamechain in partnership with B3, powered by its ecosystem token, $GOD, to further scale its mobile gaming platform.
