In June 2024, the company secured an $85 million Series A financing round co-led by The Column Group and Vida Ventures, with participation from MRL Ventures Fund, Emerson Collective, and Euclidean Capital. Concurrently, Prakash Raman, Ph.D., who has over two decades of biopharmaceutical leadership experience, was appointed as Chief Executive Officer.

InduPro's core business revolves around its proprietary discovery engine, which precisely maps the microenvironment of proteins on a cell's surface. This allows the company to identify novel pairs of proteins, or targets, that are highly selective to diseased cells. By understanding and leveraging this inherent proximity, the company develops therapeutics, such as bispecific antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), that can selectively target and act on these specific cells, primarily in oncology and immunology. The company's business model is centered on advancing its pipeline of therapeutic candidates through preclinical and clinical development, with the potential for future partnerships. The capital from its Series A round is designated to advance its first clinical candidate toward an expected Investigational New Drug (IND) filing in late 2025 for a Phase 1 trial.

The ProXiMATE discovery engine uses high-resolution proximity labeling and deep learning analysis to create detailed maps of protein neighborhoods, identifying novel target pairs. Another platform, ARRIS, utilizes multi-specific antibody technology to artificially bring two surface proteins closer together, thereby creating new therapeutic pathways. This strategy of co-targeting, which InduPro terms the Tumor Associated Proximity Antigens (TAPA) approach, aims to overcome the challenges of targeting antigens that may also be present on normal tissues.
