Imagry is an autonomous driving software provider that has developed a mapless driving system using bio-inspired technology. Imagry's core product is a hardware-agnostic software platform for Level 3-4 autonomous vehicles that operates without high-definition (HD) maps. The system utilizes high-resolution cameras and combines a real-time, vision-based perception network with imitation-learning artificial intelligence (AI) to make driving decisions, mimicking human-like perception. This mapless approach is designed to be more cost-effective and scalable, as it avoids the expense of creating and maintaining HD maps and does not require a constant satellite connection. The software collects and processes data from vehicle cameras in real-time to navigate, identifying objects and planning the vehicle's motion.

The company targets automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and public transportation operators. Its business model involves providing its software for integration into passenger cars, autonomous shuttles, and buses. Imagry has deployed its technology in vehicles operating on public roads in the US, Germany, Japan, and Israel. Notable projects include winning a tender for the first autonomous bus in Israel at the Sheba Medical Center and a partnership with Continental to integrate its technology into an autonomous parking solution. The company has raised a total of $46 million in funding.
