About Ihaveu.com

Ihaveu.com operated as a business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce platform within China's burgeoning luxury market. The company was established in 2010 by co-founders Sun Tongyu and Chen Xiao, who also served as the chief executive officer. Notably, the founding team included a former vice president for MSN China who was also instrumental in the creation of Taobao.com, bringing significant e-commerce experience to the venture.

The firm's business model was centered on direct online sales of high-end fashion and accessories to consumers. Its platform was designed to be a luxury shopping destination, offering a curated selection of products from internationally recognized couture brands such as Prada, Hermes, and Marc Jacobs. The product range encompassed both men's and women's apparel, high-value accessories, and a selection of designer home goods.

Ihaveu.com secured substantial financial backing shortly after its inception. A Series A funding round in December 2010, just a month after its launch, raised approximately $11 million and was led by IDG Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners. This was followed by a Series B round in early 2012, which brought in additional capital from investors including The CID Group and JAFCO Asia. Despite this financial support and operating in a high-growth sector, the company faced intense competition. According to industry trackers, Ihaveu.com is no longer an active company.
