Co-founded and led by CEO Aadi Bhanti, whose family has worked in orthotics and prosthetics for three generations, Hike started with 3D-printed custom insoles for on-feet workers and employers seeking to cut musculoskeletal costs, and is expanding across the wider roughly $100 billion US device market. Its vertically integrated platform combines AI agents that process insurance referrals and approvals before a clinician sees the patient, point-of-care tools for mobile scanning and ordering, and in-house 3D-printed manufacturing at a large orthotic print facility in Peoria, Illinois; the company says it has cut custom-insole wait times from weeks to days and remake rates from 1 in 15 to 1 in 400. Former Flexport SVP and Dandy COO Jerry Tang joined as COO. In August 2026 Hike raised $22.5 million in combined seed and Series A funding led by Max Altman of Saga Ventures, with Indicator Ventures, Fifth Down Capital, RiverPark Ventures, strategic partner Orthofeet and angels including Sam Blond and Jerod Mayo, to hire in San Francisco and expand Peoria manufacturing.
