Hefei Jiushao Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., also known as Amcax, is a high-tech company specializing in the development of high-end industrial software. Founded in January 2022, the company originated from the KeDa-Jiushao team as a technology transfer project from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). It was co-founded by a team of professors and doctors from USTC, led by an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The core technology is built upon over 40 years of academic research and four generations of scholarly inheritance in geometric kernel technology, which began its engineering and commercialization phases in 2017 and 2022, respectively. The company's main offering is its proprietary CAD/CAE/CAM kernel, AMCAX, an independently developed geometry engine. This engine supports multiple modeling methods, including polygonal mesh, parametric feature, and free-form surface modeling. Building on this kernel, Jiushao Intelligent has developed the NEXT integrated design and analysis platform. Recently, the company created an "Industrial Design AI Agent," which equips CAD software with a cognitive "digital engineer" capable of executing a complete "perception-decision-execution-evaluation" loop in industrial settings. The company serves clients in sectors such as aerospace, architecture, industrial simulation, high-end manufacturing, and 3D printing. Jiushao Intelligent has secured significant funding to advance its technology and market presence. In November 2023, it closed a Series Angel funding round of tens of millions of RMB, led by Hefei Shushan Venture Capital, Hefei Seed Fund, and DP Technology. This was followed by a Pre-A round in early 2026 led by Chuanggu Capital and a financing round of nearly 100 million RMB from investors including Anhui Investment Group's Chuanggu Capital and Shanghai Xuhui Technology Venture Capital. These funds are allocated to the development of the next-generation AMCAX 3.5 kernel and the NEXT integrated platform.
