Hangzhou Xynova Technology
Core components supplier for humanoid robotics
About Hangzhou Xynova Technology
Hangzhou Xynova Technology Co., Ltd. is a supplier of core components for the humanoid robotics sector, established in December 2024 in Hangzhou's Yuhang District. The company specializes in the research, development, production, and sale of high-degree-of-freedom (DOF) dexterous hands, high-torque density rotary and linear actuators, and micro electric cylinders. It aims to provide high-performance, integrated hardware and software electro-drive solutions to humanoid robot manufacturers.
Xynova was incubated with the support of the Yuhang District Government, relying on the team of Academician Xia Changliang. Its core R&D team comprises over 70 individuals, with more than 70% holding postgraduate degrees. The company has established a vertically integrated production line that includes mechanical processing, motor winding, and assembly of modules and dexterous hands. This enables them to be one of the few domestic suppliers with the full in-house capability to develop and produce all critical components, including motors, servo controllers, reducers, roller screws, and control algorithms.
Within months of its founding, Xynova launched its first major product, the Xynova Flex 1. This tendon-driven dexterous hand features 25 degrees of freedom, weighs 380 grams, and can lift over 30 kilograms. It boasts a fingertip force of over 20 newtons and a full palm open-close cycle time of 0.6 seconds. The hand is equipped with a six-dimensional force-sensing system in its fingertips, providing a tactile sensitivity of 0.1N. In addition to dexterous hands, the company produces rotary and linear actuators. Their joint modules are noted for a high torque density of 322 Nm/kg, catering to humanoid, semi-humanoid, and quadruped robots with various customization options.
In early 2026, Xynova secured over 100 million RMB (approximately US$13.7 million) in an angel funding round. The round was led by CATL Capital and included investments from Xiaomi's affiliated fund Hanxing Venture Capital, Zhengxuan Investment, Orient Renaissance Capital, SEARI Capital, and L2F Ray Entrepreneur Fund. The capital is intended to accelerate product R&D, talent acquisition, and mass production efforts. The company has already formed collaborations with leading firms in the humanoid robotics industry and targets applications in factory operations, commercial service robots, and household use.
