Founded in 2011 by Jurjen de Jong and Hans de Boer, GreenFlux originated in Amsterdam with the vision of a future powered by solar-charged vehicles. Despite the acquisition, GreenFlux continues to operate as an independent entity. Before being acquired, the company had raised approximately $13 million through various funding rounds from investors including BOM, Eneco, and ICT. The company's growth was recognized in 2021 when it was named an FT-1000 company for rapid growth by the Financial Times.

GreenFlux's eMobility platform offers a suite of features designed to address the complexities of EV charging.
