Grasp is a Stockholm generative-AI company founded in 2020 by former McKinsey consultants Richard Karlsson (CEO) and Johan Cederqvist Devér (CCO) with AI engineer Simon Hällqvist (CTO). Its SaaS assistant helps investment banks and management consultants automate research-heavy workflows such as buyer and target screening, financial analysis and related advisory tasks using proprietary models tuned for professional-services use cases. After launching commercially in late 2023 and raising about €1.7–1.9 million Seed from Yanno Capital and Philian Invest, Grasp closed a $7 million (€6 million) Series A in October 2025 led by Octopus Ventures with Yanno Capital, bringing total funding to roughly $9 million / about €7.7 million to fuel international expansion and deepen productivity tools for analysts and consultants.
