About Gradium

Gradium is a Paris AI company building foundational audio language models for natural, ultra-low-latency voice interfaces—unifying speech generation, transcription, transformation and dialogue in one architecture for developers via API. Spun out of nonprofit lab Kyutai and founded in 2025 by Neil Zeghidour, Olivier Teboul, Alexandre Défossez and Laurent Mazaré (ex-Google DeepMind / Meta audio researchers), it supports multiple European languages at launch for gaming, support, healthcare and ads use cases. Gradium closed an initial ~$70 million seed co-led by FirstMark Capital and Eurazeo (with DST Global Partners, Eric Schmidt and Xavier Niel), then in July 2026 extended the seed to about $100 million with NVIDIA participation and expanded into Silicon Valley.
