The company was co-founded by Dipo Fasawe and Adeoye Aderemi. Dipo Fasawe, the Managing Director of Sales & Treasury, has a background in finance, having started his career as a consultant at Bain & Company before moving into operational roles at Africa Courier Express and the agri-tech company Babban Gona. Adeoye Aderemi, the Managing Director of Partnerships & Compliance, brings over 15 years of experience from the Nigerian technology sector, where he was involved in major projects like the Nigerian Biometric Smart Passport system and the country's first digital voters' registration system.

FxBridge's core services revolve around payouts, collections, and currency conversions. The platform allows users to send payments to over 200 countries in more than 50 currencies using methods like SWIFT, international ACH, Wire, SEPA, and Faster Payments. For collections, clients can open dedicated USD, EUR, and GBP accounts to receive payments globally. The currency conversion service provides access to institutional market rates, aiming to offer lower costs than traditional banks. The company emphasizes security through robust transaction monitoring and AML screening to ensure global compliance.
