Future Gov

FutureGov is a consultancy focused on digital transformation and service redesign specifically for public sector organizations. Founded in 2008 by Dominic Campbell, the company was established with the goal of modernizing local government services through the use of design, technology, and organizational development. Campbell, a digital government entrepreneur, started the firm after recognizing the potential for digital tools to reshape public services and make them more citizen-centric.

The company's business model centers on providing consultancy services that help public bodies, such as local authorities and healthcare organizations, navigate digital transformation. It works with clients in the UK and Australia to create and implement programs and products designed for 21st-century needs. FutureGov's methodology involves deep user research and service design to understand constituent needs and build solutions to address significant challenges. This approach led to the development of several digital products, including Patchwork, a web tool for child protection teams, and Casserole Club, a community meal-sharing service connecting cooks with older neighbors.

In June 2019, FutureGov was acquired by The Panoply Holdings plc (now TPXimpact), a technology services group, for an initial consideration of £11.8 million. This acquisition was intended to significantly scale The Panoply's presence in the public and health sectors. Following the acquisition, founder Dominic Campbell assumed a group-wide role as Managing Director, Public Sector and Health.
