Fusionality
Integrated control and data systems for fusion devices.
About Fusionality
Fusionality is a Lausanne / Swiss Plasma Center–rooted company building transferable measurement, simulation, control and data-acquisition systems so fusion-device operators can run plasmas without reinventing operations infrastructure for every machine. Co-founded in 2026 by Federico Felici (CEO; EPFL/TU Eindhoven plasma control; Google DeepMind) and Jonas Buchli (CTO; ETH Zürich / Google DeepMind robotics and RL control), the team applies hardware-plus-software products and engineering services to the growing private fusion fleet. In September 2026 Fusionality raised a CHF 3 million pre-seed co-led by Founderful and Playfair to hire control engineers, computational physicists, plasma-measurement specialists and software engineers in Lausanne and deliver first customer engagements.
