In 2014, Tiffany and Nic Novich founded Full Tilt Logistics as a freight brokerage in Reno, Nevada. The company, which soon became a 100 percent women-owned family business with Tiffany Novich as President and her mother-in-law, Cindy Novich, as CFO, was established to capitalize on Reno's growing status as a transportation hub. The business focused on providing strong customer service at competitive rates. A pivotal moment for the company arrived during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their primary business, servicing trade shows, vanished almost overnight, causing a 70% drop in revenue. This challenge forced the company to diversify its customer base to become more resilient. This strategic shift, coupled with a family-run leadership team that included other Novich family members, enabled them to navigate the downturn. Post-pandemic, Full Tilt embarked on significant expansion. To meet growing customer demand and to become a true third-party logistics provider, the company acquired a new 250,000-square-foot warehouse and office space in Reno in 2022. This allowed them to bring their expanding transportation, logistics, and new warehousing divisions under one roof. This consolidation of services, including dedicated warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment, marked a new phase of growth for the company, solidifying its position in the logistics industry.
