Flexion Robotics is a Zurich humanoid-robotics software company building the AI intelligence stack—the “brain”—that lets humanoid robots understand natural-language tasks, plan motion and control their whole body through reinforcement learning and sim-to-real training, aiming for useful autonomy beyond brittle scripted behaviours. Co-founded by Nikita Rudin (CEO) with a team of roboticists from ETH Zurich, NVIDIA, Meta, Google, Tesla and Amazon, Flexion’s stack spans a command layer (language models for task decomposition), a motion layer (vision-language-action models trained largely on synthetic data) and a low-latency whole-body control layer with modular skills. After a $7.35 million seed from Frst, Moonfire and redalpine, Flexion raised a $50 million Series A in November 2025 from DST Global Partners, NVentures (NVIDIA), redalpine, Prosus Ventures and Moonfire to expand its Zurich R&D team, scale compute and robot fleets, establish a US presence and commercialise the autonomy stack with OEM partners.
