FFK-GmbH, established in March 2010 and managed by DI(FH) Florian Hoppl, is a specialized engineering firm headquartered in Pöllau/Hartberg, Austria. The company concentrates on developing and producing highly durable components designed to resist abrasive wear, primarily serving the demanding paper and pulp industry.

The firm's core business revolves around the development of products using its proprietary hard wear material, AO2, which has been shown to extend the operational lifetime of certain industrial components by up to four times. This focus on material science allows FFK-GmbH to provide custom solutions that address specific client needs for wear minimization. Its research and development activities are conducted by a dedicated entity, Forschung und Entwicklungs GmbH, which oversees the entire process from concept to prototype manufacturing and testing.

Beyond the paper and pulp sector, FFK-GmbH is expanding its applications into other industries by leveraging another proprietary material, A01. This corundum-based material is noted for its pH-neutral characteristics and resistance to temperature changes, acids, and bases, making it suitable for a wide range of uses. The company has also successfully developed prototypes for wastewater aeration systems and produces wear-resistant pipes and pipe bends for the mining industry. All products undergo a rigorous testing and quality control phase before entering small-series production within the company.
