Founded in 2019 by Mohammad Raafi Hossain and Daniel Ahmed, it is powered by Own Network — regulated financial infrastructure connecting banks, telcos, payment and liquidity providers, custody and settlement across more than 100 banking corridors — and holds regulatory approvals spanning the GCC, Indonesia, Malaysia (Labuan Islamic digital bank sandbox), the EU, Türkiye, Pakistan and other markets.

As of August 2026 Fasset reported more than US$40 billion in annualized transaction volume, 3 million+ wallets and 1,000+ enterprises across 125 countries. In May 2026 it raised US$51 million Series B (SBI Group, Arz Portföy, Investcorp, Speedinvest and family offices), then in August 2026 closed a US$68 million Series C led by SBI Group at a US$1 billion valuation — bringing 2026 raises to about US$119 million and lifetime funding above US$150 million. Proceeds expand Own Network and agentic AI for corridor banking, stablecoin settlement and tokenized-asset infrastructure, including deeper Japan–APAC–Middle East–Africa rails with SBI Remit and partners.
