Extreme Vision
AI computer vision algorithm and solutions marketplace.
About Extreme Vision
Extreme Vision is an AI computer vision solutions provider that offers end-to-end services for enterprise clients across various industries. Founded in June 2015 by Chen Zhenjie (Chankit Chan), Luo Yun (Lauren Luo), and Chen Shuo, the company originated from the founders' shared vision to apply AI technology to a wide array of real-world scenarios. Chen Zhenjie, the CEO, studied at Peking University's Guanghua School of Management and had prior experience at Bain & Company and Tencent. Co-founder Luo Yun holds a Ph.D. in AI and machine learning from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The company's core offering is its AI vision algorithm marketplace, which features over 1,500 algorithms applicable to more than 100 industries, including retail, transportation, manufacturing, and energy. This platform model addresses the fragmented needs of the B2B market by connecting algorithm developers with enterprise clients. Developers can use Extreme Vision's proprietary platforms, such as "Jishi" (极市), an integrated development environment, to create and refine algorithms, while clients can select and deploy these solutions through the "Jixing" (极星) platform. This approach aims to reduce development costs and time, democratizing access to AI vision technology beyond high-demand sectors like security and finance. Extreme Vision operates on a "self-research + ecosystem" model, developing its own foundational AI visual language models while fostering a global community of hundreds of thousands of AI algorithm developers. The company provides end-to-end solutions, from development and deployment to management, and has expanded into offering large-model solutions to facilitate digital transformation for businesses. Its clientele includes over 3,000 government and enterprise customers, such as China Unicom, Evergrande, Shaanxi Coal Group, and China Resources. Since its inception with an angel round in 2015, the company has secured multiple funding rounds from prominent investors, including Qualcomm Ventures, China Resources, and Orchid Asia Group. Originally founded in Shenzhen, the company moved its headquarters to Qingdao, Shandong, in 2021 and went public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in March 2026.
