Eve’s business model encompasses the design and production of its eVTOL, alongside a portfolio of services and a unique air traffic management solution, positioning it as a holistic UAM ecosystem provider. The company targets a diverse client base, including fixed-wing and helicopter operators, aircraft lessors, and ridesharing platforms. Revenue will be generated from the sale of the eVTOL aircraft and through its comprehensive aftermarket and services portfolio, branded as Eve TechCare. This service suite includes maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, pilot and mechanic training, material and battery solutions, and operational support through a digital platform to ensure high aircraft availability. Additionally, the company is developing an urban air traffic management software called Vector. The company's primary product is a 100% electric eVTOL aircraft designed for urban mobility. It features a 'lift + cruise' configuration with eight propellers for vertical flight and a pusher propeller for forward flight, a design choice aimed at reducing complexity and improving safety and reliability. The aircraft is designed to carry one pilot and four passengers, with a future uncrewed configuration accommodating up to six passengers. It has a projected range of 60 miles (100 km), addressing the majority of intra-city travel needs. The first full-scale prototype was unveiled at the Farnborough Airshow in 2024, with entry into service anticipated as early as 2026.
