Eragon is developing an AI-driven operating system that allows businesses to manage operations using natural language prompts instead of traditional software interfaces. Founded in August 2025 by CEO Josh Sirota, a former Oracle and Salesforce executive, the San Francisco-based startup aims to unify disparate enterprise applications like Salesforce, Snowflake, and Jira into a single, prompt-based workspace. Sirota's experience scaling a business unit to $200 million in annual recurring revenue at Salesforce informed his vision of eliminating the inefficiencies of toggling between multiple complex software tools. He is joined by technical co-founders Rishabh Tiwari (Berkeley CS PhD) and Vin Agarwal (MIT PhD).

The company's core product is an agentic AI operating system that connects to a company's tools, data, and communication channels. It then trains custom, proprietary AI models on that specific company's data, allowing businesses to own their intelligence and model weights. This security-first approach ensures a client's data never leaves their own servers or cloud environment. Deployed agents can then run autonomously to monitor, act, learn, and escalate tasks across the organization. For example, a user can issue a natural language command to initiate a new client onboarding, and the system will automatically generate credentials and trigger the necessary workflows without manual intervention in different applications.

In March 2026, Eragon announced it had raised a $12 million seed funding round at a $100 million post-money valuation. The round was led by Arielle Zuckerberg of Long Journey Ventures, with participation from Soma Capital, Axiom Partners, and strategic angel investors including Mike Knoop (co-founder of n8n) and Elias Torres (co-founder of Drift). The platform is already in use by large enterprises and fast-growing startups. The business model is B2B SaaS, targeting the enterprise AI market which was valued at over $28 billion in 2025.
