Entrix is a Munich energy trader and AI optimisation platform for grid-scale battery storage and other flexible assets. Founded in 2021 by Steffen Schülzchen, it runs algorithmic multi-market trading (ancillary services and short-term wholesale) that also accounts for battery degradation, and offers bankable fixed-revenue structures such as FloorPlus alongside live trading. Clients include project developers, utilities, IPPs and financial investors; contracted portfolio press cited ~3 GW / 8.5 GWh across Germany, Poland, Italy and Iberia, with partners such as Encavis and MEAG. In March 2026 Entrix raised €43 million in additional growth capital led by Junction Growth Investors and Korys, with BNP Paribas (Solar Impulse Venture Fund), Allianz, AENU, Enpal, Abacon and Arvantis Group participating — following earlier seed capital that had brought disclosed equity to about €8 million.
