About Enterworks

Enterworks operates as a specialized provider of Multi-Domain Master Data Management (MDM), Product Information Management (PIM), and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions. The company primarily serves B2B and B2C enterprises across a wide array of industries, including consumer-packaged goods, food services, manufacturing, retail, and healthcare. Its business model centers on providing a configurable software platform, the EnterWorks® Multi-Domain Experience Management (MxM) solution, that enables clients to create a single, trusted view of their data. This allows companies to manage and transform product information into personalized content for various channels such as e-commerce, mobile, and print, ultimately driving sales and improving operational efficiency.

Founded in 1998, Enterworks established itself in the data management sector over two decades. A significant turning point occurred in 2015 when the private equity firm Black Dragon Capital acquired the company, aiming to revitalize its market position. This led to a period of rapid growth and increased market share. By February 2019, Enterworks was acquired by Winshuttle, a company specializing in ERP-centric data management and process automation, and began operating as a distinct line of business within it. This merger was intended to create an end-to-end solution for managing the entire product value chain. The journey continued when Precisely acquired Winshuttle in 2021, integrating Enterworks into its broader Data Integrity Suite.

The core offering is the Enterworks platform, which functions as a central hub for data acquisition, management, and syndication. Its architecture, described as an Agile Data Fabric™, weaves together disparate data domains—such as product, supplier, customer, and asset information—into a unified record. A key feature is its dynamic data modeling capability, which allows the platform to be configured to specific business needs without requiring custom coding. This flexibility supports complex B2B2C network collaboration and provides a low total cost of ownership. The platform also integrates advanced technologies like AI and machine learning to enhance data quality and derive business insights. Enterworks prides itself on rapid implementation, with deployment possible in as little as 90 days.
