Ensenda, founded in 2000, established itself as a logistics services provider across North America before its acquisition. The company focused on delivering tailored home and commercial delivery solutions. Its client base included furniture retailers, industrial suppliers, and companies in the printing, office supply, and electronics sectors. The business operated on a venture-backed model, successfully securing multiple funding rounds, including a Series A round in 2003, to fuel its growth and expansion prior to being acquired.

On May 16, 2014, Ensenda was acquired by TransForce (Virginia), a move that integrated it into the larger structure of what is now TFI International, a major player in the North American transportation and logistics industry. Following the acquisition, Ensenda's operations were absorbed into TFI's final mile delivery division, which was later consolidated and rebranded as TForce Logistics. This entity now operates as the leading same-day final mile transportation solutions provider in North America, leveraging a vast network of over 70 operating facilities and more than 6,700 delivery partners.

Under the TForce Logistics brand, the core service is providing asset-light, final-mile logistics with a focus on customizable same-day and next-day delivery. The business serves a wide array of industries, including retail and e-commerce, financial services, medical, and B2B sectors requiring specialized delivery for items ranging from small parcels to big and bulky goods. Revenue is generated by providing flexible, competitively priced delivery solutions that can be scaled based on client needs, from fleet replacement for businesses to high-volume e-commerce fulfillment.
