Encode Group, established in 2004 by Dutch engineers, provides comprehensive services to the engineering industry, primarily focusing on the oil & gas, energy, and chemical sectors. The company is headquartered in Hoogvliet, near Rotterdam, with additional operations in Ploiești, Romania.

The group operates through two specialized subsidiaries: The Badger Company and A1 Werkplan. The Badger Company, founded in 2004, is a multidisciplinary engineering firm that covers the entire project lifecycle, from design and engineering to project management, procurement assistance, and construction management. Its services are offered worldwide.

A1 Werkplan, established in 2006, functions as the group's technical manpower specialist. It focuses on recruiting and supplying technical personnel, such as welders, pipe fitters, and engineers, for the chemical, oil & gas, energy, and food sectors. A1 Werkplan facilitates temporary employment, detachment, and also mediates between clients and self-employed technicians.

Encode Group's business model is centered on delivering services across three main disciplines: engineering, procurement, and construction. The company serves as a single point of contact for clients, managing technical projects through its specialized subsidiaries.
