ENA Respiratory is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company, spun out of the University of Melbourne in 2015, that is developing therapies to prevent respiratory viral infections. The company, initially known as Innavac Pty Ltd, was founded based on research by Professor David Jackson and his team at the University of Melbourne's Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity. Christophe Demaison has served as CEO since the company's formation as ENA Respiratory in 2020.

The company's core focus is the development of INNA-051, a first-in-class small molecule that acts as a TLR2/6 agonist. This product is designed as a once-weekly, self-administered nasal dry powder that primes the body's innate immune system at the primary site of infection in the upper respiratory tract. ENA Respiratory's business model is centered on the clinical development and eventual commercialization of INNA-051. The company targets at-risk and vulnerable populations, including the elderly, individuals with chronic conditions such as COPD, asthma, and diabetes, and those with occupational exposure like military personnel and first responders. The firm operates through a strategy of securing venture capital funding and forming strategic partnerships to advance its clinical trials. In October 2025, the company announced a US$22.4 million Series B financing round with investors including the Gates Foundation, Flu Lab, Brandon Capital, and Uniseed, to fund a Phase 2 clinical trial of INNA-051. ENA Respiratory has also received funding from the U.S. Department of Defense and is partnered with the U.S. COPD Foundation to accelerate development.
