Emediate, founded in 2001 and headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, provides an ad serving and campaign management platform tailored for online publishers. The company was established by Søren Sieg Jensen and Audun Abelsnes. Initially, it was part of the full-service interactive agency Interforce, which the founders also started. In 2005, Emediate ApS was formally established as an independent entity to focus solely on developing and selling its ad-serving technology.

This acquisition integrated Emediate's ad-serving capabilities into Cxense's broader suite of publisher tools, aiming to offer a more comprehensive solution that combines data management, real-time analytics, and advertising. Following the acquisition, the Emediate platform continued to operate and was eventually integrated into what is now known as the Cxense Ad Server.
