NOEMI Aerospace (formerly Elfly Group / Elfly AS) is a Norwegian aviation company developing NOEMI, a fully electric amphibious seaplane for regional passenger, cargo and special-mission operations from water and runways without new infrastructure. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Bergen with design, engineering and manufacturing at Torp Airport in Sandefjord, the company rebranded to NOEMI Aerospace in 2026 (NOEMI = NO EMISSIONS). Founder & CEO Eric Lithun; co-founders Eirik Sandal (CIO) and Tomas Brødreskift (CTO). In July 2026 Innovasjon Norge awarded a NOK 30 million (~EUR 3M) grant for the full-scale flight-test programme (already recorded as a GRANT round); press also reports ~NOK 40 million private investor capital matching the grant for prototype build and flight testing — private equity investors were not named in coverage, so no separate equity round was published. First full-scale flight targeted by end of 2027; 70+ soft orders reported across five continents.
