Established in 2024 as Eagle Electronics through a partnership between The O.H.I.O. Fund and Asymmetric Capital Partners, the company is headquartered in Solon, Ohio. A significant milestone occurred in December 2025 when Eagle Electronics acquired the German firm Wireless Mobility and rebranded to Eagle Wireless. This acquisition integrated U.S.-based manufacturing with global engineering expertise, establishing R&D and support teams across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. By December 2024, the company had raised $14 million in venture funding, followed by a $30 million Series B round in February 2026, bringing its total capital raised to $44 million. This funding is intended to expand R&D, advance its 5G roadmap, and scale up full-device production in the U.S.

The leadership team includes CEO Norbert Muhrer, an industry veteran who previously led Wireless Mobility and held senior roles at Quectel and Gemalto/Thales. TJ Dembinski, who co-founded Eagle Electronics, serves as President. Mark Kvamme, Co-Founder and Chairman, also founded The O.H.I.O. Fund and Drive Capital. The company's strategy is a direct response to a growing demand for trusted, Western connectivity providers, driven by new U.S. regulations like the Connected Vehicles Rule, which requires cyber-secure supply chains. Eagle Wireless serves original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Tier 1 suppliers, and IoT innovators, enabling them to deploy connected technologies with confidence in compliance and security. The product lineup is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing systems, providing enhanced data protection and full regulatory compliance. The company projects an anticipated run-rate revenue of over $100 million in the module market over the next year and plans to expand its services to include device production and design.
