Dyna Robotics is a Redwood City embodied-AI company that builds general-purpose robots powered by proprietary foundation models that generalize and self-improve across commercial environments. Founded by Lindon Gao and York Yang (who sold Caper AI for about $350 million) with former DeepMind research scientist Jason Ma, Dyna launched its DYNA-1 model and reports 99%+ task success over 24-hour non-stop operation, with robots running multi-shift deployments in hotels, restaurants, laundromats and gyms. After a $23.5 million seed in March 2025, in September 2025 Dyna closed a $120 million Series A co-led by RoboStrategy, CRV and First Round Capital, with Salesforce Ventures, NVentures (NVIDIA), the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund, Samsung Next and LG Technology Ventures, to expand research and engineering and scale production-ready deployments.
