Dualitas Therapeutics, Inc. is a biotechnology company focused on developing next-generation bispecific antibody (BsAb) therapies for immunology and inflammation. The company was co-founded in 2023 by Forbes Huang, who serves as COO and CBO, and Greg Lazar, the Chief Scientific Officer. They were driven by the goal of moving beyond incremental advancements in a crowded antibody-drug market. Forbes Huang has a background as CEO for a Novo Holdings startup and held senior roles at Gyroscope Therapeutics and IVERIC bio. Greg Lazar previously led research groups at Genentech, Eli Lilly, and Xencor, contributing to multiple clinical-stage molecules and approved drugs.

The company's core technology is the proprietary DualScreen™ BsAb discovery engine. Unlike traditional methods that focus on a narrow set of known biological target pairs, DualScreen operates at a combinatorial scale. It functionally screens the entire cell surface (the surfaceome) to identify novel BsAb combinations that produce synergistic, rather than merely additive, effects. This platform has also generated a collection of reusable "immune engagers," which are antibody arms that can be paired with various targets to create new BsAb candidates. The business model centers on advancing its internal pipeline while also forming strategic partnerships to leverage the DualScreen platform for discovering new candidates and exploring disease areas beyond its primary focus on immunology and inflammation (I&I).

Dualitas emerged from stealth in September 2025 with a $65 million Series A financing. The round was co-led by Versant Ventures and Qiming Venture Partners USA, with participation from founding investor SV Health Investors and new strategic investors including Chugai Venture Fund, Eli Lilly and Company, and Alexandria Venture Investments. The funds are designated for advancing its lead programs—DTX-103 for allergic diseases and DTX-102 for autoimmune diseases—and for the continued development of the DualScreen platform.
