DOF Inc., founded in April 2015 by CEO Shin Yong-woo, is a biotechnology company specializing in biomaterials for regenerative healthcare. The company addresses the demand for human transplant tissues by developing products using a proprietary supercritical fluid technology. This technology uses carbon dioxide for a non-toxic decellularization process to create safe human tissue-based implants.

The company operates a tissue bank, certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, which can process and distribute 11 types of tissues, including skin, bone, cartilage, and nerves. Its primary products include 'SC DERM', an acellular allogeneic skin for breast reconstruction and treating burns; 'SC CONNECT' for peripheral nerve regeneration; and 'SC FILL', a filler variant of their skin graft product. DOF Inc. primarily serves hospitals and medical professionals, supplying them with these sterile, ready-to-use tissues. The company's business model is centered on the production and sale of these advanced biomaterials and medical devices, having obtained GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification to ensure product quality for both domestic and international markets.

Initially started to combat the reliance on imported transplant tissues in South Korea, DOF Inc. has combined nanotechnology and biotechnology to become a key domestic supplier. The company has successfully completed over 1,500 procedures with its acellular dermal tissue with no reported side effects. The company employs 41 people, including a research and development team of 16 individuals.
